Time Sensibility (Tijdsgevoel) is a dialogue in material between visual artist Pauline Oosterhoff and blind ceramic artist Annemarie Vogel, exploring how tactile experiences enrich modern fine art. The project features sculptures expressing the life cycle of a flower, from root to bloom, encouraging both sensory and visual interaction. While many art forms rely on sight, this work shows how tactile elements can deepen the art experience for all. The stone sculpture Levenslijnen (Lifelines) captures elements of a flower bed, created from Pauline's dialogues with blind and visually impaired art creators. Pauline’s Van Wortel tot Wind (From Roots to Wind) and Annemarie’s Wintertijd (Wintertime) respond to this work.
Time Sensibility was presented as part of Rietveld Uncut 2025, a collaboration between the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
