Swann Dubus & Phuong Thao Tran

Alongside the Sunflowers, we also set up a group for women who used drugs and for sex workers, the Cactus Blossoms. They were among the most marginalised: there was no methadone or other realistic support to manage addiction. Together with composer Arno Peeters and visual artist Iris Honderdos, the women created a rap which they performed live at the National Women’s Museum.
